We only get to do this once, I don't want to waste my life looking or trying to find fulfillment in worthless things.
We will never be satisfied by anything in this world. For a moment, but then it's gone. We think a new house, new car, new shoes, new clothes, more followers, more success, more status, or even a dream fulfilled, will scratch the itch of longing in our heart. But really guys we know that that NEVER works. We were made for relationship. Relationship with God and people. God made it clear that the whole Bible could be summed up in one verse. I wrote these lyrics, bc I knew I wasn't making what was most important, most important. In the business of life it's easy to get sidetracked and forget what is MOST IMPORTANT..... and that is TIME with GOD and time with others.
