Hi Ceci! Long time admirer here! I love and appreciate the beautiful work you create for your clients. Having recently started my business focusing on custom design and print of invitations, I have a question for you about your design and artistic vision when working with clients. Do you sometimes feel like you are sacrificing your design expertise when designing for a client, simply to make something that they want you to design?

A: I definitely know what you mean, and understand. From my point of view, I believe it's our professional obligation, as the experts, to listen to your clients wishes yet always share your vision and expertise with them. Because in all honesty, they don't know what they don't know. In other words, what's in our imaginations, you cannot find on Pinterest because it hasn't been done before, right? Instead of having your client tell you what to do, help them understand what you have in mind for them. I love to take my clients to special places they've never even thought were even possible. That's what it's all about for us - where the most amazing ideas come from. Now, I don't mean giving them geometric modern design if they're asking for romantic watercolor, because you must solve their desires. But I do mean saying "What if we tried this?" That's when the magic happens! ✨
