I wasn't supposed to give a speech or anything but was just moved to say a few words about @nikthechicchef who works hard to not only help feed the homeless-but she works to give them healthy options as well. Very admirable of her! Homelessness is a huge problem in America yet it keeps being swept under the rug (meanwhile Congress just approved $700 BILLION more for the military- which we're already the top military in THE WORLD-but that's a whole other conversation!! ????) if we all just did a little- a whole lotta progress could be made! So many people are so close to being homeless. One layoff, one medical bill, one crisis away.... #NeverLookDownYourNoseAtTheHomeless #HomelessAreHumansToo
