Today we did our hamlet's annual 6k and Winky got to go across the finish line twice (once with me in the walking group and once with @turshen in the runners) - I love community events like this. The money raised went to a local children's center and a dozen of us from our local workout spot @30minutesofeverything cheered each other on and we even got to take home a little prize for placing third. I've really learned how to be a better community member here and I'm so thankful for this place.
