I usually try my very best to steer away from unnecessary drama but think some of you have doubts on the authenticity of my following on this account, so I'm here to clear the air. What happened was, since IG changed their algorithm, it affected the reach and engagement rate by a whole lot. I realized that in order for your posts to reach more people, interaction is the utmost important, and for me who already have my hands full with the family daily chores, I really had trouble keeping up. I barely even had time to check my IG daily. So when a social media marketing company offered a trial on boosting organic exposure, I gave it a try. What they do was that they provide you with an analysis on hashtags optimization, creating a more aesthetic feed view, analyzing the best posting time for maximum reach and helping you follow people who are of your interest. Basically just like a marketing company for businesses, they try to optimize the potential of your account so that your photos shows up more often on your followers' feed and gets noticed more often on the "recommended" page. What I did not realize was that they also helped me follow and unfollow many unsuitable accounts instead of the ones that are really relevant to me such as travel and cute bento accounts. Honestly I even thought that if it worked I would write a review about it on how to make the best of your Instagram with a little help (because I know many of us need it!), for those who are looking to grow their accounts organically. So for that I would like to officially apologize for for offending people whom I had unknowingly followed and unfollowed. What I thought could lend a little help to keep my account alive and interactive turned out to be a cause of trouble. I am truly sorry for disappointing any of you here. ?But let me just swear this once: I have NEVER bought a single fake followers throughout my entire existence on this account. Those in doubt can go through all my 240k followers to look for any fake/bot accounts. I have never done it, I will never do it nor approve of such act. ?
