One of my favorite adventures thus far has to be the helicopter ride I took while in Kona this week. ?The volcano was active so it was a privilege to watch lava pour into the ocean while crossing paths with a now abandoned road. -Truly spectacular! Nature is awe inspiring and I find the more time I spend in it the more grounded I feel.
It was also a small miracle that I went paddle boarding in the open water. Anyone in my family or circle KNOWS my relationship with the ocean is tenuous. But it is also my personal motto to do that which frightens me. So naturally, I charged it.
Ps. I got pummeled by a wave and lost my paddle in the process. The good news is, I'd do it all over again! ?
