I was & still am in total shock. I don't take this lightly. It's been a dream of mine for 22 years since I stepped onto my first film set. Funny enough, I didn't even realize that it had been 22 years since a woman (the great #mimileder) had won for outstanding drama directing at the Emmys.
First- to be in a category with the most talented directors out there- #leslilinkaglatter #thedufferbrothers #jonahnolan #stephendaldry & our own hilarious #katedennis is unreal to me.
Then to have the show that @エリザベス・モス , @colinwatkinson, @broosemiller, @warrenlittlefield, @anecrabtree , @julieberghoff and @Hulu Home of Emmy-winning and @MGM and the whole amazing cast & crew poured their heart and soul into - actually win! And not just one Emmy, but writing, supporting actress, guest actress, cinematography, production design, directing, lead actress and outstanding drama series - is like what universe is this? This kind of shit never happens. It feels like a dream.
