I feel thankful to have therapy as a part of my life and in my session today, quiet was a big theme. The importance of sitting in it (especially when it's uncomfortable) and letting it hold as much weight as conversation. I learn more about what I really feel in those moments and this print by @grapheme_seattle with words by Maurice Sendak reminded me to seek out more of those quiet times and to learn as much as I can from them, rather than rushing to fill them with words and stories and narratives that are usually too neat and too simple to be the full picture. ?
