As of September 6th, 2017, Smith is announcing a voluntary recall of the Smith Quantum snow helmet. No incidents or injuries have been reported. This recall is being instituted for cautionary measures.  In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and Health Canada, Quantum Helmets that were produced and sold in the US and Canada between October 2016 and July 2017 need to be returned to Smith so we can replace the retention system to meet all of our safety standards and requirements.  For more information and where to send in your helmet free of charge, please visit the recall link at www.smithoptics.com/quantumrecall
