A few weeks ago, I spent the day with Brother David on Caldey Island. Such an interesting, calming and serene gentleman and we found we had a mutual love of dark chocolate! As a thank you for his time, I gave him some albums for the monastery library as well as a few bars of 85% chocolate and he gave me some lavender grown in the garden and the most beautiful & thoughtful prayer - (something I will always treasure).
