Spent the day trying to fire up the CX for the first time, it's fought me all day, great spark, great compression, fuel in the float bowls... left a note on a forum and guess who should respond?? Only Murray of Murray's carbs, amazing guy pitching in with advice on a Saturday! Went back to the bike at 23:00 and just double checked the float bowls... they wept fuel from the drain but that was it... They were empty!! Because the funnel and pipe I'd rigged to supply fuel was being chocked by a jubilee clip!!!!! FFS!!!! Sorted the line and the little beauty fired pretty much first turn! Carbs are stunning, neat, easy and the bike sounds amazing for a little 500. Popped a little flame, I could probably fix that... if I didn't like it so much ;) seen by @ziggymoto
