I watched 45's press secretary say "The President didn't want to make this decision based on emotion". ?This is so heartless. Most of these young people came here as infants and children, they had no choice, this is the only home they've known. They aren't "taking" anything from anyone. As long as they've earned their place in society, functioning like everyone else, why take such drastic measures to drive them out. 800,000 young people. If their status bothers you so much, give them a chance for citizenship. No one should be made to feel they don't belong in their own country. They are Americans just like you and me and this act is so shameful. I haven't said much about 45 because even though it infuriates me that Americans actually voted him into office, I don't want to be like those people who treated President Obama like crap without even see what he'd do yet. Well...I've seen...and I don't like it one bit. I can give a list of things this man has already done to let the world know what kind of man he actually is but you can google that yourself. 45 takes me to a place mentally that I just can't be while I'm here in London, so I've taken self care by not even talking about him. I've been following everything happening in America and doing my part privately. The man does not care about the well being of people of color, people in need, or people outside of his "community". I know hard decisions have to be made. I didn't agree with everything President Obama did or said all the time, but I know he is a man of INTEGRITY. contrary to most people, I don't think I know everything, so I trusted President Obama to do what was right for Americans, which is WHY I voted him into office. I do not trust 45 has any of our interests in mind. I question 45s morality based on his ACTIONS. So we must resist. There are so many ways to help these Dreamers but one way is to text RESIST to 50409 to have the resist write a letter to congress on your behalf.
