I'm reposting this video shot by the homie @marshall__miller because for one Marshall is a badass crazy mofo for doing this but also to address something that struck a nerve as it's been bothering me for awhile. Apparently GoPro posted this video that was shot by their athlete @marshall__miller on their channels and this guy @devinsupertramp is bummed because he didn't get credit because he used it in one of his edits or something ... not sure what he deserved credit for since it was Marshall risking it with the camera on his head but I wont get into that because that depends on if Marshall was under contract not to share any of the content he shot and that's between them and I'm sure if a mistake was made GoPro will help right it ... but that does bring me to the point I wanted to make which is @devinsupertramp keeps calling it "his footage" and here's the deal ... that's bullshit ... this is @marshall__miller's footage that he shot. I've seen people do this a lot. They hand an athlete a camera ... the athlete goes out and shoots something amazing with it and then the person who handed the athlete the camera calls it "his shot" and that's garbage ... for instance I recently shot with a top professional surfer ... he took my camera out in the water and got an amazing shot ... he took the shot with my camera ... but it was his shot.
