I truly envy all those people who never have to take their pets to the vet, but with a breed named "EXOTIC shorthair", you know they will be expensive!! Always something with our Landru. Two weeks ago he got an infection above his right eye in his brow area. Finally seemed to be healed so we took the cone off today. Watched him a while and then let him chill by himself. Later, he comes downstairs with totally inflamed eyes (both!) and the surrounding areas!! Looked like he had rubbed them raw and/or they were all swollen from an allergic reaction to something. Spent 3.5 hours tonight at the animal hospital; he got a couple injections, and an antibiotic eye ointment to set him straight! Keeping him on his antibiotic pill and lots more time in the cone! ? He looks worse in person!! We sure do love this guy but he is trouble! #landrutreats
