So, so, grateful for winning the #climblikesasha contest. When the DM was read there was a weird feeling in my stomach, like a bunch of butterflies. It felt like winning the lottery!!! Comparing it to my lack of gear it was winning the lottery! Growing up, I never really did sports and when I did do them, my parents had to always get me the cheap gear. I didn't mind. Ever since the beginning of climbing, all the gear was used. All my climbing shoes were hand me downs from climbers who donated stuff to the Novi climbing club( @novi_climbing ). My harness was also donated by Erik Sloan, author of the "Yosemite Big Walls" book, back in my sophomore year of high school. Basically, there's no money to waste on climbing gear since it's so expensive! Thanks @petzl_official @サッシャ・ディギーリアン @lasportivana for choosing my picture. Everything is going to get used A LOT. ???
