"This image is all about visualizing the end result before depressing the shutter. Ask yourself, what lens and camera settings do I need to capture the image as seen in my mind? I wanted to freeze the fast moving pintails, and have enough DOF (Depth of Field) to render both the foreground and background elements recognizable. To capture the image as envisioned required a higher ISO even though the backlighting was intense. Use the lowest ISO possible to capture the image as envisioned!
