I had the privilege to wish a very special teacher-Mrs Lim from South View Primary School, a very happy teachers' day this morning. More than that, I saw how interactive, patient and encouraging she was to her students.

We are all in a new era, where reaching out to our younger generation requires a different approach perhaps. In her, I saw a teacher's love and commitment to her students. A very big thank you to Mrs Lim and to all the wonderful and hardworking teachers in our education system. It is because of passionate teachers who truly have the heart for their students that our young grows an interest in learning and have a taste of love, patience and having someone who believes in them.

I feel truly blessed to have met teachers who believed in me and never gave up on me. That made such a huge impact and difference in the way I saw and believed in myself. Thank you to all teachers who work so hard each day and choose to love and grow our young with such love and commitment.
