This is the size and scope of the flooding in the Houston area alone. Corpus Christi, Galveston, and a million small communities have also been affected (and in some cases completely devastated) by this disaster, with more to come. I can't wrap my head around it. And a disproportionate number of those most affected are poor, people of color, and folks with limited resources. It can be hard to know where to donate or how best to help, so the link in my profile goes to the #Harvey page on #CharityNavigator, which lists vetted, local organizations who are on the ground doing disaster relief. Praying, donating, amplifying, watching the news and holding my breath.
