Rain in the mountains is a recipe for rock fall and increased #avalanche conditions, like the one seen in the last clip of this short video. We watched this ice and rock avey from a few hundred meters away as we were bringing gear to camp 2, it heightens your awareness of your surroundings to say the least. Many of the mountains in the valley we were camped at in #greenland had large hanging seracs and cornices. It doesn't take much for them to blow and anytime we experienced heavy rained you would hear and often see them crashing down throughout the valley, beautifully terrifying to witness. @dell @mikelibecki @andy_mann @ethan_pringle @connor_seybert @マウンテンハードウェア @alpinestartfoods
