You've captivated my heart (again), New York City. You showed me beauty, strength, kindness, resilience, backbone, freedom and more wonder than ever around every corner. Your old gorgeous buildings and presence, your force to be reckoned with, it all swept me off my feet. You are all heart and passion, guts and courage, blood, sweat and soul and you demand the same from anyone setting foot on your ground. You make an individual see what they're made of and you don't let complacency take root. You are tough yet graceful and effortlessly are able to serenade the world. I have to admit you have a piece of my heart that no other place can reserve and you are, in fact, the baddest mamma jamma of them all. Thank you for gifting us with a trip that not only exceeded our daydreams, but birthed a few new ones. You changed us, we're not quite the same and I hope we never will be and that your spunk continues to light a fire in us as we go homeward bound. ?
