Hey guys happy Sunday! By now you probably know that every Sunday I donate my social media to my @YearsofLiving team to talk about carbon pricing! This week's #PutAPriceOnIt post is from Samantha Peikes at Smith College. "I think that carbon pricing is the solution to combatting climate change because we live in a world driven by rationality and value. We assign a dollar value to goods and services so that we know exactly what we are paying for. Climate change is exceptionally complicated, its impacts are being felt very differently all around the world. Climate change is an indomitable force that causes numerous problems, but contains no clear solutions that fit within the constraints of our innate societal values; that is unless we begin implementing carbon pricing. A carbon price acts as an economic incentive for the world’s largest polluters to lessen their greenhouse gas emissions. We must act on climate and #PutAPriceOnIt."
