Last week, Mazzy took a break from her multi-sport camp and went to a ballet camp for a week with a friend. She hasn't taken a ballet class since she was three or four and I have to say, I loved seeing her in that leotard and tights again. Plus, I think her face was meant for buns, which was strictly required so she couldn't argue with me. She doesn't want to pursue ballet going forward but she loved doing something different for the week and it made me think that next summer I am going to look into more specialized activities than just going to their regular day camp for two months straight. I want to use the summer to really explore Mazzy and Harlow's interests and give them new experiences. Before they both abandon me for sleep-away camp!
