From the South Side of #Chicago to the #California Governor's office. Earlier this week, I spent time meeting with CA Governor Jerry Brown, Senator Ricardo Lara, Assembly Majority Leader Ian Calderon, Senate Majority Leader Kevin de León, Assemblyman Matthew Dababneh, and more legislators to advocate for justice reform in the California State Capitol building. I believe that it's time to end mass incarceration so I went to Sacramento to utilize my platform to stand up for the men and women in prison and spark change in our justice system.
