Shout out to this mad scientist @paulatrounce who creates all of the incredible visuals for us on tour. She makes the world we live in every night. We met at the Village Underground in 2010 and had an extremely awkward, rushed and fumbly conversation at the lighting desk. These days we meet at the Shard to talk business. I knew we would be friends for life when @woolymamothsounds spilt a glass of red wine over her laptop and broke it the first night we brought her on tour. I peed in a field in Australia w her in 2011, we watched the sunset in Brazil together on sugar mountain, she has a cat cam, a handy woman business on the side, she has flown helicopters, been in a punk band, been a street sweeper, is a world traveler, teaches me quantum physics, she's respected by the toughest motorcycle gang in the world and has a million tricks, stories up her sleeve and will not sit shyly at a party not telling them to anyone eating chocolate. She's the kind of friend that brings @hnashette water halfway through a marathon and then does the rest of the marathon with her cause she couldn't bear to leave her. After 8 pints the night before, a sausage bap for lunch and wearing converse. She is my number 1 call in an apocalypse. I've drunk gin at disney with her for breakfast, watched her clean puke off the tour van to purple rain and I carry her Christmas tree for her on Christmas Eve.
