Paris in August - what was supposed to be the month when nothing needed to be done and when there was finally some time to recharge my batteries, sipping ice coffee in the Parisian summer sun while wearing floral dresses, instead turned into something of a personal nightmare. Water leaks, apartment issues, insurance calls, nothing but rain, cancelled holidays, challenges both within work and personal life sprinkled with the task of finding people actually working during August in this city (?) made me want to pull out my own hair out... But hey, these little moments makes you stronger and teaches you to roll with whatever little surprises are thrown your way (in another language nonetheless). August, you're not what I thought you would be but in between all of this I've had some pretty good moments anyway (mostly thanks to friends always having your back) ☺️?
