#RestInPeace #JerryLewis was my greatest comedic inspiration. For you film students out there watch all of Jerry's films immediately and definitely read his book #TheTotalFilmmaker Study the greats and become greater! I wanted Jerry to be the Casino owner in #RushHour2 and when I went to Vegas to meet him after his show at the #OrleansCasino I brought my copy of his book #TheTotalFilmmaker for him to sign. He made me wait 2 hours and finally a woman came out and started yelling at me. I was shocked by this woman who turned out to be Jerry in drag! He then brought be into his dressing room and as he removed the wig and dress he said "I don't give a shit who you are, I don't get out of bed for less than 100k a day" I said to him that it's not my money so I'm fine with him getting what he wanted but I would have to get approval from the studio which is why I ended up with another genius #AlanKing for 25k a day as the Casino owner in Rush Hour 2! Jerry and I talked for hours and I was surprised he asked me a lot of questions about my life because I was told he was a prick similar to the character he played in #Scorsese's The King of Comedy! He turned out to be the Greatest guy I ever met and then told me I reminded him of himself when he was a kid. He then asked if I had a nickname... I said yes it was 'RAT'.... so he signed my book "Rat, Thanks for taking me back 40 years. Jerry" If my house was burning down and I could take one thing with me it would definitely be my grandmother @princessfanita but if I had time to take two things it would be my grandmother AND my copy of Jerry's book! Jerry and I became friends over the years and even closer because of my fellow #RatPac #consiliere #BruceCharet who we all shared the @friars_club board in common! Jerry was the #Abbot.
