Counter-poaching teams can only slow the bleeding for so long. It's time for the U.K. and the U.S. to step up and end their involvement in the trade.

A new trade analysis reveals that Britain was the world's largest exporter of legal Ivory between 2010 and 2015. Not only did UK export more Ivory than anyone else to Hong Kong and China - which are considered smuggling hotspots for 'blood ivory' - it also sold on 370% more Ivory than the next highest exporter, the USA. The UK Government must ban the Ivory trade completely and immediately to help conserve the few elephants we have left. Please share the news.
