Whenever you are close to a breakthrough, whenever you are drawing closer to God, and whenever you find yourself on the path that is rightfully meant for you, that's EXACTLY when the devil decides to pounce; to distract you, to dishearten you, to lead you astray. Every time you are inches away from living the prosperous life that God has promised you, the devil will do everything he can to make sure you don't get there. The closer you get, the harder he tries. Whether he wins or loses is entirely up to YOU. Be wise enough to recognize the difference between God's divine direction & intervention, and the devil's attempts to make you give up. Constantly pray for His guidance. When you know you are following God's will, continue to follow even when things get tough! His way is always the right way, and as long as you FULLY trust in Him, He will show you how much more powerful He is than any weapon that can be formed against you. If you keep fighting your own battles, you don't leave God any room to fight—and win—them for you. You must surrender ALL, otherwise you surrender nothing. Trust and faith can go a long way. In fact, they can take you ALL THE WAY. So, when the devil tries to have his say, simply tell him: "NOT TODAY." ??
