Trafficking of persons is modern day slavery. Victims are forced or coerced into labor or sexual exploitation. Today there are 27 million people in modern-day slavery across the world, and fam, it happens everywhere. Just this afternoon, the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force arrested a 39-year-old pimp using a Chino Medical building as a brothel. After discovering a prostitution ad on Backpage.com, investigators were able to search the location and rescue two victims inside. On Tues this week, The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation found a church youth leader, a coach, an emergency medical technician, and an Uber driver are among a dozen men facing felony charges in a children sex trafficking case. Our humanity is in crisis and we cannot fight this alone.
