Bruises, Blood and Battle Scars - all for one shot for one EPIC scene. Long nights in rain, running, slipping, punching and getting punched, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, failing but then finally getting THE shot. Thank you to the whole team who equally committed to making it happen!!! We did it!!! Thank you for this opportunity Direk @erikmatti ?? This scene is one for the books! ?
Reposting from @erikmatti -- "The fulfillment for me as a filmmaker ever since I started dreaming of becoming one is to imagine, as complicated as I can, what scenes could make use of all the elements of film, to challenge myself to pull it off even against all odds and actually executing it as I imagined it. I get the ultimate high when everyone on set confronts the challenge head on and works so damn hard to capture it on screen. Bloodied wounded and chased by the mob thru alleys and roofs, @アン・カーティス nails this complicated scene in 1 shot, 2 days, 4 ronin operators, over 60 crowd and stunt guys and 37 long takes, with wet and slippery rain to top it! It had to be put on record that we got it. Without everyone's stamina and Anne's marathon experience, this would have failed big time!
