I am forever grateful that I grew up in a house where hate was not in our vocabulary. Grateful that racism was forbidden. Grateful that I learned that ALL people are beautiful, unique and deserve respect. I'm saddened and stricken to know that this thinking, this way of being raised and believing, is not the same for all. The dark side of mankind seems to be pushing forward. It's not ok. I learned much from cancer. Predominantly that love is the way. We need to move forward. Not backwards. So with that being said, I'm sending everyone love and kindness today and everyday..... except for those asshats who believe they are somehow better. Somehow entitled to more. Those who believe hate and violence are the path. To those people, I send you pity and disgust.
