If you’ve ever watched mesmerizing chrome powder in action on Insta, you know that the result is a gorgeous mirror mani. This process was once nearly impossible to DIY, but @Sally_Hansen's new chrome powder kit will be in drugstores soon to save the day! We asked their Global Color Ambassador @mpnails to teach us how to do a half-moon mirror many that’s worthy of the the ‘gram. Here’s how to get the reflective look.

1. Grab a pair of tweezers and position strips of tape halfway down your nails.
2. Paint the top half of your nails with two coats of Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in a dark shade.
3. Gently buff Gunmetal Salon Chrome Powder into the tacky polish for a mirror-like effect.
4. Use tweezers to peel off stripes of tape for a negative-space detail.
5. Paint with Chrome Top Coat to seal in the shine.
6. Step back and admire the cool chrome.
