Visited this exquisite exhibition today http://courtauld.ac.uk/gallery/what-on/exhibitions-displays/william-henry-hunt --- it's in the @courtauld drawings gallery at Somerset House. Wonderful pre-photographic (just), and pre Pre-Raphaelite watercolours. It's a tiny exhibition - of an artist better known for his still-lifes but in this dedicated new collection he's immortalising some common people of the 1820s and 30s and their working lives. Have you heard of William Henry Hunt ? Neither had I ! But now I understand a little better the world that my hero TR Williams grew up in. Go in your lunch hour !! I am Groot !
