Just docked back into civilization in Tasiilaq #Greenland after a 6 week ass kicker and unforgettable expedition here in East Greenland. Without a doubt @mikelibecki knows how to plan the ultimate adventures. It's unbelievable how much we experienced in a month and a half, I'll be sharing much, much more in the coming months. I shot this photo here of the moon rising last night as we were slowly making our way back out, pushing north in open sea with 7 people and 2,000+ pounds of gear crammed onto a boat designed for 5. It was a fitting end to a trip that demanded we earn it, starting the second we left Tasiilaq in early July. We all came back barely worse for wear: I managed to walk away with 2 sprain thumbs and a black eye, all separate incidents along the way from a stupid fall, a kayak blunder and some rock fall to the face.
