"Today is a special day for @テキサス・レンジャーズ baseball. We are retiring the number of one of the greatest players to wear a Texas Rangers uniform and the greatest catcher to ever play this game. Tonight we are wearing uniforms in tribute to his MVP season in 1999. I was 7 years old when he was given that award. My pops wore number 7 when he played for St. Louis and growing up that was my favorite number. What are the chances that I got the privilege to be the last player to wear the number 7 in a Texas Rangers uniform. Pretty cool coincidence huh?
