Days like today where I get to wake up + spend my morning with my horse... an un-rushed few hours with an animal that knows me better than I know myself sometimes, that shows unconditional love without words, and shares an equal dependence with me for quality of life - I am floored by how wonderful this life is despite how dark the world we live in seems sometimes. Don't get me wrong. I work to have this, I work hard AT this, and I sacrifice things for it. But i'm also blessed to have it + continually thankful for light wherever I find it.
