I spent the night at a medieval encampment in the hinterlands of Alberta.

You guys, I have to say this was a really unexpected surprise. I wasn't sure what to think going in, especially when I heard we all had to dress up, but it was fun!

The tents are cozy and warm at night, and the entire glamping experience is well thought out, down to every piece of decor.

There was even archery and some awesome trebuchet activity that I'm bummed I missed out on.

This is my second time glamping in one month. First a safari and now the Middle Ages. It's like my new thing, I guess. ?@editingluke .
