I ran a 600 PB 10 days ago and feel like I am one of the best shapes of my life. So many “what ifs” go through your head. But life goes on, and I will reflect and learn from this and focus on whats ahead.

Thanks so much to everyone for their support, there are too many to name but a massive thanks to our Lord Jesus who has given me this gift and helps me through these tough times as well as the good times. Also big thanks to my amazing hubby Sam, Danny my brilliant coach, my parents and parents n law, the rest of my family, Athletics NZ, Adidas, Taryn from Hubbers Flooring Nelson and all those who helped me raise funds to get overseas and race, train and qualify. To my amazing training partners and friends, and also my support team back home, and Jane and Oli the NZ physios here who helped me be ready especially after pulling my hamstring 2 weeks ago. Also to all the rest of the Athletics NZ staff, Kat, Michelle and Scott, thank you sooo much!! .
I am super grateful to everyone who supports me and for all the messages coming in and am I so sorry I wasn’t able to make you proud out there last night. But it was such an honour to run for New Zealand again. Looking forward to flying home on Monday after 4 months away. Super well done to everyone else who has competed at World Champs- I’ve been so inspired by so many incredible performances and all the best to those still to compete!! Lets go Kiwis!
