Alvin Ing was at @aladdin today. Let me just say: there would be no Telly Leung's nor Bobby Pestka's on Broadway had it not been for the pioneering talents of this man. We met him when we made our Broadway debuts in FLOWER DRUM SONG, and he is not only a wonderful colleague, but he's family. If you don't know this man, GET INTO IT! Listen to the original cast recording of PACIFIC OVERTURES, and then hear him on the revival recording (singing some stuff UP a half step! That's ALVIN! FIERCE!).
