?I actually had a director of a shelter in New Jersey tell me that they aren't supporting the bill to ban declawing in that state because they don't support, "cruelty to veterinarians." ?Wow. ?
So in my opinion, if declawing is banned and a vet amputates a cat's toes and claws, it's a no-brainer. They should go directly to jail. ??
Just like in Israel where a vet would face a year in jail and a $20,000 fine for declawing a cat.
I know these shelters use the services of veterinarians, but they need to wake up, get their heads out of their &@#% and realize that the only cruelty is what's being done to thousands of cats who are having their toe bones and claws barbarically amputated by those vets. #greed #nj #pawsneedclaws #sheltercat #jail
