Photographer Rosa Polin (@rosa_polin) saw double this weekend at the Twins Day Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio. Here, the idea for a day devoted to twins emerged in 1976 as a local group was planning how Twinsburg would participate in America's bicentennial celebrations. During that year's first Twins Day Festival, 37 pairs were in attendance. Since then it has grown to become the world's largest annual gathering of twins. (Triplets and quadruplets now welcome.)⠀

Among the events are contests for multiples who look the most (or least) alike and best outfit themes, as well as recognition of those who traveled the furthest within and outside the U.S.⠀
