On the Birthday of her niece (my niece in law) I get, through the ethers, this photo to wake up to this morning. I slept ten hours last night. Needed it. She flew away yesterday because that's what she does: travels to love. She's one of those people who will go far out of her way to love you face to face, and you'll always remember far into your years, that she was there because she cared so much about you to travel to you, even if it's across the room to whisper something in your ear. She's one of those people, like John Adams was to Abigail, where he'd ride through rain or shine, melting heat or a numbing snow, to make sure she knew how much she was loved by him. That's my wife.
