RESCUE IN UKRAINE:
In a dramatic cloak-and-dagger operation, the female bear Kristina was confiscated and was moved into her new home at Bear Sanctuary Domazhyr, where she is its second inhabitant. Before her rescue, her handler had forced her to perform in restaurants and in the circus, and previously, she had been exploited in film productions and photoshoots. Now, Kristina can recover from this suffering and leave her sad existence behind. Unfortunately, a court case still has the power to decide whether Kristina can stay in BEAR SANCTUARY Domazhyr forever. As soon as the bear has settled in we will show you pictures of her in her new home.

We would like to thank the authorities and supporters for the amazing cooperation on site. We hope that the pending legal proceedings go in favour of Kristina and she can stay in our care forever!
