Liebe Fans! Spannende Wochen liegen hinter mir. Immer wieder habe ich mich gefragt, welcher Verein der beste für mich ist. Und manchmal liegt die Antwort überraschend nah.
Ich habe einige sehr gute Angebote aus dem Ausland abgelehnt, auch von Vereinen, die Champions League spielen. Denn nirgendwo hat es so geknistert wie beim VfB.
Die Entscheidung für Stuttgart habe ich ganz bewusst getroffen, weil die sportliche Herausforderung zu 100 Prozent stimmt! Beim VfB kann und werde ich Verantwortung übernehmen und endlich wieder Vollgas geben!
Schon vor 17 Jahren habe ich das Trikot mit dem roten Brustring mit Stolz getragen. Das werde ich auch jetzt wieder tun. ⚪️?⚪️

Dear fans! After some exciting weeks I've finally found with VfB Stuttgart the best club for my future.
I have rejected some very good offers from abroad - even from clubs which play Champions League - because nothing attracted me like VfB. The sporting challenge feels 100 percent right!
In Stuttgart I can and will take responsibility and help the team to achieve the goals.
Already seventeen years ago I've worn the white and red jersey with pride. I definitely will do that again now. ⚪️?⚪️
