Thanks to a supporter for sending me a heads up about these two very sad Instagram posts of the same kitty. The betrayal in this cat's face is so heartbreaking. It's one of the many appalling examples of how so many unethical and inhumane declawing vets are harming and mutilating around 5000 cats a day in America and are NOT educating cat owners about why declawing is inhumane and wrong!
We MUST protect cats from these evil declawing vets who are performing this legal cat cruelty and abuse.
The owner of this beautiful cat most likely wasn't told by their greedy vet that this procedure is an amputation procedure that will harm this cat for its lifetime.
When I reached out to this person on this Instagram post and asked them some questions and told them that declawing is inhumane and harmful to their cat, they said, "The vet was really nice about it all." They said, "I remember one of my humans saying that there was once a cat that lived to be 16! And she didn't have claws either!" They said, "I will do more research than I already have next time I get a cat."
