"Some days you hop on your bike planning to ride 30-40 miles, but of course, life has a funny way of getting in the way of plans. Today I got caught in a rain storm, crashed my bike and bruised the entire left side of my body, got pelted by nickel-sized hail, and got a flat (without having a spare, of course ??). ... I didn't hit 40 miles or even 30 miles today, but it wasn't a bad day because of it.
