I had just finished my first round of BBG, I was constantly losing weight, and my motivation levels were through the roof. If you would've asked me how I would look in two years I would've said that I would've hit all my goals, gotten to my goal weight, wore a size 6, blah, blah, blah... At that time all I did was eat, sleep, and breathe fitness and health. It was my only priority, but I wasn't actually ~living.~ I'd eat a slice of pizza and immediately feel guilty and feel the need to run to the gym or I'd take a day off from working out and feel like the world was ending. Some people would think that amount of dedication is great but it's no way to live your life. Now that I've been doing this for over two years I've learned how to live my life, enjoy the fun, and put in the work. To say I still feel guilty for eating pizza would be a total lie but to say I'm also 100% happy with my body is also a lie. Every day comes with a struggle and especially more days lately than in the past. But it's times like this that matter most, after a family vacation, when i've eaten seafood & snacks galore, came nowhere close to working out, yet I still feel happy about how far I've come and how I've kept the weight off. I still haven't met all of my goals and I still look in the mirror and talk about what all needs to be better but I'm no longer stuck in a bubble. I'm living my life. I'm enjoying the good times and learning that progress takes A LOTTTTT of patience.
