12 years ago, at this exact spot, I called my mom to come pick me up because I was having my first panic attack. For a year after that, I could barely get out of my house, a block away being even too far. I refused to take the medication they gave me as I wanted to get over it only by myself. I kept getting out of my comfort zone, going further every day, a feet at the time, until the discomfort became comfort. When I started spearfishing, I applied the same method to get over all my fears, one dive at the time. After a lot of hard work on myself, the ocean, my biggest fear, became my passion. Nothing is out of reach :)
