The surgery went fine!? Here is Homer, after we got back home, with his 10cm of tail left. He has to keep the cone for 15 days, we're going back to the vet next week to change the bandage and in two weeks to take the stitches off. At this time he will be 100% healed!?
He was well awake and starving when returning home so he ate an entire fresh ground beef steak hehe!?
Since he has the cone and has to keep his booboo safe (added to the fact that Nug is back on hissing gangsta mode) he has to stay locked in for at least a week. I've made him a recovery room, every wall and furniture is covered in bubble wrap (see the wall behind him!?!) and the floor is one big giant sweet plaid. I know it is a bit extreme but we never know so better safe than sorry, right??
He can't have a litter box for a week so i've made him one with some big square pads and i've put some litter on it: he already peed and made a perfect poop on it so that's good!?
I'm glad all this is on the way to be definitely over and that he is not suffering anymore! Thank you to everyone for your kind words, prayers and good vibes during all this, your support has been very very very (x3!) appreciated! We fluff you!!!?

L'opération s'est bien passée! Voilà Homer, après notre retour à la maison, avec ses 10 cm de queue restants! Il doit garder la collerette pendant 15 jours, nous retournons chez le vétérinaire la semaine prochaine pour changer le bandage et dans deux semaines pour enlever les points de suture. À ce moment là, il sera 100% guéri!
Il était bien réveillé et affamé en rentrant à la maison alors il a mangé un gros steak haché de bœuf frais hehe!
Puisqu'il a la colerette et doit garder son bobo en sécurité (ajouté au fait que Nug est de retour en le mode gangster sifflant), il doit rester enfermé pendant au moins une semaine. Je lui ai fait une chambre de convalescence, chaque mur et meubles sont recouverts de papier bulles (vous voyez le mur derrière lui!?!) et le sol est un grand plaid géant. Je sais que c'est un peu extrême, mais (suite en dessous⬇)
