Cool lil day at the track yesterday.... scroll thru. ??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️??‍♀️ I grew up on the track... learned to be self sufficient and to rely on me and only me there. Track can be a lonely sport- but I think it builds your character and forces you to look within. You can't blame any one else if you come up short-It's the purest sport. No rules, no flash, nothing is subject to opinion. You either win or you don't. It's just You, your sneakers and the clock. You are totally in control of your outcome. You can work SO hard just to get faster by a hundredth of a second- but when you string a bunch of those small advances together- you get real progress. It was here I learned the importance of BABY STEPS and the bigger picture. To those feeling like they are working hard and going no where- take heed. You ARE progressing- just because you don't see huge results overnight- does NOT mean you're not heading in the RIGHT direction. Lots of life lessons can be learned thru sports. Stay focused ??
